Sitka

Sitka was our 3rd port we stopped at. This was one I was excited for because they have a large eagle population and that was one of my goals was to get some good eagle photos. We started out the day by walking around the harbor but only saw a few gulls. We then went to walk to the Alaska Raptor Center, which is a rehabilitation facility for raptors and other birds. On the way we were able to spot an eagle perched high in a tree. We got to tour the Raptor center and see some of the eagles and other birds close up. After this we walked back to the town and spent some time at the harbor seeing the seals and eagles.
